Add Dish to Category

Introduction

This guide shows how to assign a dish to a category, for example you can create a dish - Vegetable Pasta with cheese and assign to a category Vegetarian.

There are numerous ways that categories will be set depending on the way your company decided to Categorize dishes.

Assumptions

That you are using Outlet Recipe Manager

That Dish Categories have been configured in Head Office

Where to find this

Recipe Manager > Dishes

Step-by-step guide

Navigate to Dishes under Recipe Manager, and select +Add to create a new dish:

Select the Required category from the list for the new dish being added: 

Once a category is selected and implemented, you can select a Sub Category that is associated to the Category field:

Once Complete, the screen will resemble the following - continue to complete the required data for the New DIsh - See Creating and Updating Recipes
