Margins Report

Introduction

You can view a Margins Report in Outlet, that is the difference between your costs and sales amounts to view you Gross Profit % and Gross Profit.

Assumptions

That the product you want to view have a selling price set in the recipe.

Where to find this & Steps.

The Margins report can be accessed from two places in Recipe Manager.

 Method 1.Click Stocktaking > Recipe Manager > Reports > Stocktaking Reports in the dropdown you will see Margins Report 

a. Select a Category

b. Select a criteria for Sales Volume between Last year Sales Volume, Theoretical Sales Volume or n/a

c. In the tick box select if you want to include Theoretical Cost ( If you use theoretical costing)

A report with the following format will be produced

Method 2. On Dishes page using the filter choose the range of dishes you want to view or search using a keyword.

a.Select the Category, Sub Category and Outlet.

b. When you have on screen the dish or dish category you want to view click Margins Report at the bottom of the screen

You will view a Margins report for the dish or dishes on the screen per dish.

NOTE: In the screenshot attached the dishes with 0 amounts have not been setup with sales prices.
