Using Product Switch Tool-Outlets Only

Introductions

The product switch tool in Recipe Manager enables the user to change an ingredient in one or in multiple recipes.

Assumptions

The client is using Recipe Manager

The user is a head office user (outlets users do not have access to this tool)

Where to find this

Head office > Recipe Manager > Products

Step by Step guide

1. Once in Products, enter the name or product code of the product you wish to replace and click find
   
   
2. Click Switch on the right of the correct product
   
   
3. The user will see a list of all dish recipes containing that product together with the unit of measurement and the quantity in each dish
   
   
4. Use the filters or the search field to find a replacement product
   
   
5. Once a new product has been selected, the new unit of measurement and quantity will auto-populate but will be editable if required
   
   
6. The user can choose to click the Select All box to switch from the old to the new product in all dishes or use the Update boxes to update dishes one at a time 
   
   
7. Once the boxes have been ticked, click Switch Item to make the change
