Editing a Recipe

This will cover how to edit a current recipe via Recipe Manager. The first step is to navigate to Recipe Manager - Dishes.

Locating The Recipe

Once you have navigated to the Dishes page of Recipe Manager, you can then use the Search option to search for the recipe in question that you are looking to edit. 

After locating the recipe in question, simply click the title of the dish to move onto the Dish Details screen. Using a dish titled 'Cheese Burger' as an example, the Dish Details screen will appear as so:

If you then continue down the page, you will be presented with a new section titled 'Recipe Items'. This section will display the products found in the recipe, alongside relevant product information such as Supplier, Pack Size, Cost Price and Allergen information. You will also be presented with a number of details surrounding Cost Per Portion Breakdown and Cost Details. You can view an example of this below:



Editing The Recipe



You are now presented with the Build Recipe screen. To make any necessary adjustments to your recipe, simple click the X icon on the right of the product you wish to remove. You can then navigate to the 'Find Product' option and search for the replacement product. Upon searching for the product in question (Either by Product Description or Product Code), you can simply click on the new product and it will be added to the recipe. 

Once the product has been added to the recipe, you can decide on the Recipe Quantity & Unit of Measurement for each dish. 

Upon completing these steps, simply select 'Update Dish' to finish editing your chosen recipe.
