Stock Transfer Request

Stock Transfer Requests are used if you have an outlet that acts as a Central Stores facility where you can place requests for items and they will transfer them to your outlet.

To do this click on the Stock Transfer Request button, the page you land on will be for the current week by default and displays Sent Requests and Received Requests (past 90 days).

Click on the Add Transfer Request button, then add the information to the fields below:

Request Date: this will default to the current day

Request Delivery Date: choose your required delivery day from the calendar

Outlet: choose the outlet from the dropdown (these will be outlets deemed to be central stores outlets)

Stock Category: choose a category from the dropdown

Stock Location: choose the stock location 

Event: if you use Events, you could choose an Event by clicking on the Change link and choosing an event

Notes: this is a free text field allowing you to add any necessary notes


You can now add the items you want to request from the list displayed by adding quantites in the Case, Pack and Loose columns (you can put values in all 3 columns if need be), then click on the Add Items button at the bottom right hand corner. 

You can choose other stock locations and add items as above.

The chosen items are listed in a summary at the bottom of the page, once you are happy that you have added all the required items click on the Add Transfer Request button. If you need to remove an item click on the X.

The request will now be listed on the Stock Transfer Request page in the Sent Requests area.  You can click on the date in the Requests Made field to be reminded of what you have requested and the status of the request.

The Central Stores outlet will get a notification that the request has been placed and will see the request in their Outstanding Requests area. The request status will initially be Pending, but they will change this accordingly to Transfer, To Order, Ordered or Declined, depending on the availability of the items.  Once the request has been transferred to you it will be displayed in the Transfer In area.
