Setup Stocktaking
There are 2 parts of this page: Select a Department and click Continue to build/manage your stock locations and View New Catalogue Items to see what has recently been added to the supplier catalogues.
Stock Locations: Department
Use this dropdown to select the department you want to build your stock location in. You may only have one option or you may have multiple in which case the one you choose will depend on whether you or your head office users will be looking at any reports at department level. If you're not sure, please check with your manager/head office.
Click Continue. This will take you through to the page for setting up and editing your stock locations and the items in them.
New Catalogue Items
This tool enables you to easily see what items have been added to supplier's catalogue that aren't already in a stock location in your outlet.

What is a stock location?
A stock location is a list of supplier products that you buy and therefore need to order through IndiCater and/or record stocktakes of. It could also be a called an order sheet or stock sheet.
Is there an easier way for me to manage a stock location used by all of my outlets?
There is a Head Office tool called Stock Sheet Templates. This enables you to create, edit and assign stock locations to multiple outlets. This is in Outlets, Set Up, Manage Stock Sheet Templates (under the Purchasing header). If this is not activated for you please contact Support or your Account Manager.
