Once a catalogue has been uploaded, there is an additional option to upload product information which is available for the client to see when placing an order and to enable the client to use ingredients within recipe manage and on labels required for Natasha's Law.

The fields available to complete are:

ProductCodeAdditionalDescriptionIngredientsGraphicStringPreparationSuggestionsPackagingBarCodeVatableMinimumOrderStorageTemperatureShelfLifeLeadTimeCaseDimensions

Please note: You do not have to submit data for all items on your catalogue and you can leave fields blank, but if a client has requested ingredients for their products this field must be populated.

The product code is used as the identifier so must be a code which exists in the catalogue.

Simply download the template, complete the required data and upload it.

Once uploaded the data will be available for the client to print as part of their Natasha' Law label. It will also be made available to any integrated 3rd parties through our API.

Natasha's Law

How should the ingredients be entered?

The ingredients for each item need to be in descending weight order, this is as they appear on the manufacturer's packaging.

Allergen words should be included and can be in capitals but this is not essential. The IndiCater application will search for and bold all allergen words when displaying the data to the client within the label.

Ingredients are still required for an item that contains no extra ingredients, for example a carrot.

Once submitted, the client has the option to click on a Product Info button next to the item when creating their order.

Here is an example of how the data might look. Please note column B is not required to be completed but is completed in this example for clarity:

Once uploaded what will the user see?

The user will see the below info if they click on the Product Information button at the point of ordering:

An example of ingredients and allergens displayed within IndiCater on a label is shown below.
