The template is attached, it contains a few examples. These examples need to be deleted before the file is submitted to IndiCater to be loaded into the database.
When suppliers fill this in, the following guidelines must be followed:
- The first 4 columns and 2 columns towards the end are highlighted in grey and should be ignored, they are for IndiCater to fill in: NutritionID, NutritionSupplierID, ClientID, GroupSupplierID, GroupStockItemID, Archived:
- The compulsory columns are: ProductCode, Description, Salt (the Salt value can be 0.00 but it has to be filled in).
- The rest of the columns are optional. The most frequently used columns have have a value in all 10 example lines.
- The example file is saved as an excel spreadsheet so that the column colours are preserved (as a help) but we need to upload CSV formats. If the supplier is unable to save the file as CSV, we can do it as long as there is only one sheet in the file.
- The following columns can contain both letters and numbers: ProductCode, Description, DepartmentName, SubDepartmentName
- All the other columns can only contain numbers (no letters, not even approx, N/A, Trace) etc.
