Introduction

This is a guide for the Head Office user to setup Recipe Manager to manage favourites.

  Assumptions

  • IF you use outlet Recipe Manager version the favourite products you select will be used in Outlets. Users within the outlets will be able to view and use that list as their favourites
  •  
  • If you use outlet Recipe manager outlet users cannot change the

       Click Recipe Manager and click SETUP 

       The following page will open.

       

    Step-by-step guide

 1.1  Manage Favourites

 Step 1. Click MANAGE FAVOURITES

   A list of the group suppliers will appear on the left of the page. Click on each supplier to show the Stock List and choose the products in red to include them on your favourites list.

   Once you have clicked on a product it appears on the right side of the page.

   You can also use the search field to find products.

   To remove any product by click on it. The system will prompt you to ask if you want to remove the favourite item.

       

2. Manage Templates

   You can create templates for Cooking Method, Critical Control Points, Notes, Quality Checks and Specification.

Step 1 Click Manage Templates

    

   Choose from the dropdown the Template Type you want to setup for example

    Cooking Method : Cook for 20 in oven until golden brown.

    Click ADD TEMPLATE

   Once the template is created Outlet users can select the template when creating recipe dishes.

  3. Dish PDF Defaults-

 

   Outlets have the ability to create a Multi Dish PDF report, the default view you set is the what they will see in that report. Users can still view individual dishes in varying detail.

   You can set the default that they view a detailed PDF, One-page with image, nutrition and simple ingredients or one page with detailed allergens.

     

 Step 1. Choose the Format

 Step 2. Click on include recipe costs if you want to view recipe costs. If the PDF will be used for menus you will not want to include the recipe costs however if it is only for costing in the outlets you may include Recipe Costs 

 Step 3. Choose Nutrition portion to be viewed on the PDF, the default is per portion.
