- change the name of an item, for example change Hovis granary bread to just say granary bread so that the name Hovis doesn't appear in your list of ingredients (the item name will only appear if it contains multiple ingredients). To do this simply change the data in the Label name field. This doesn't amend how your item appears in the recipe or in any other part of the application.
- you can can tick to include the QUID percentage in your label. This is the % of that item in your dish by weight. See the gov.uk website for more info about QUID https://www.gov.uk/guidance/food-labelling-giving-food-information-to-consumers#give-a-quantitative-ingredients-declaration-quid
- you can exclude the item from the label, eg a set of plastic cutlery that is given away with the dish.
- you can choose to set these options to apply to all recipes, for example change the name of the bread to affect all of your sandwich labels.
There will be a new rule added soon to prevent you from excluding an item if it contains allergens.
