Introduction

Close Period is used when the outlet has finished entering all their data , for the week and want to lock it down so no alterations can be made.

Step-by-Step guide

  1. Check , all your relevant information has been entered correctly and complies with your company book off rules.
  2. Click on Company and then on Close Period.
  3. You will seee a set of three red buttons, each button represents a module, so if you are not using a moudule, you will not need to close this section down, Click on the red button.Depending on the company set, you see 3 columns: Employment, Finance and Stocktaking. You only need to close the modules that you are using. An open week will be red. Click on the red in the relevant week and module.
  4. You may have a series of questions to answer before you can book off , if (this depends on the options your head office have chosen). If you do, answer the question questions using the drop down box to state Yes or No and then boxes and enter any comentscomments.
  5. Click close week, this . This will turn the button to green to say you have closed the week , repeat and that the data is now ready to be used by your head office. Repeat this for all modules as neccessarynecessary.
  6. You can see that next to the button is Once the week has been closed, you will see a small i, . if you click on this you can see the information on who closed the weekwill see who closed the week and when. This data shows in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
  7. If you have closed the week in error, contact your head office.
