API Access Request

IndiCater currently host a number of API modules to enable our clients and their third party providers to access the data required to perform tasks such as generate and print Natasha's Law labels, import invoices into their accounting application and update their point of sales terminals with dish and allergen information.

Available APIs

Recipe Manager - this API module includes all of the relevant dish information to enable a third party to call ingredients, costs, sales prices, allergens, barcode etc. This is used by third party menu systems, epos and labelling companies.

Invoices and credit notes - this API module enables you to export your invoices and credit notes. Data can be called by date range or by an individual reference. There is also the option to tag the called data as exported so that it cannot be called again (the same process as running a live export from within the IndiCater application).

StORM - this API module includes item specific purchasing and wastage data.

We also host and manage a number of client specific API modules.

I am interested in accessing data from IndiCater via an existing API module, what are the next steps?

  1. Once you have requested information about one of our API modules we will send you an overview of the data available via the API.
  2. We will grant you temporary access to a test API. This will be your data copied from your live database at a point in time.
  3. Should you wish to go ahead with access to the live API, we will send you a quote for you to approve. The standard cost for use of one of our existing API modules is £150 a month additional license fee which covers

maintenance, upkeep and support. If agreed, we will send you an agreement amendment to sign and return.

  4. Should you require changes to the existing API this will be quoted for as new development.

If you want to discuss the development of a new API module, please contact us to arrange a call.
