Assigning Dishes to Locations / Brands

Introduction

You can assign a dish to a location/brand, this enables outlets to have access to their own set of recipes and run margin reports on the dishes assigned to them. 

Assumptions

Recipes have been created, Locations or Brands have been set up.

Recipe Manager > Dishes 

Step-by-step guide

Navigate to the Dishes option under Recipe Manager on the menu panel, then key in the Dish Name/Reference, then click on the Search button:

The dish will be listed.  Click on the Dish Locations icon which looks like a map pin (highlighted in yellow).

The Assign Dish to Location (s) page will be displayed.  Here you can assign by Location or Brand by ticking either of the options. Place a tick in the required Location/Brand or tick the 'Select All' box to choose all locations, then click on Assign Dish. That dish will now be available to view in the selected Locations/Brands. Alternatively, you can click on Manage Locations, from the three options choose Assign Locations and tick the relevant Location and select OK.

Different prices for the same dish can be set by outlet.  Click on Set Price and enter the price, then click on Add Price.  The price can be amended by clicking on Update Price, enter the new price and click on Update Price.  The price can be deleted by clicking on the X next to Update Price, the default price in the recipe will then be used.

An alternative way to now do this is to once you are in the dish.

At the bottom of the information section in the dish, you will see a Locations 

Use the Update button to manage locations here.
