System Version Update - Tuesday 19th August
Our next version update is scheduled for release this evening.
We have been busy working on various projects behind the scenes making system improvements for this release, however we are happy to advise that after taking onboard user feedback, this version update includes the enhancement below:
Menu Hub
Menu Template Designer
You now have the option to include a date on your menu template when printing a daily menu (see more below under Menu Plan).
Go into Menu Hub > Menu Template Designer > scroll down to Header > tick Show Date
In the same area you can choose the font type & colour for that wording to be displayed.
Menu Plan
We have added the option to print one day from your menu plan as well as the whole week.
From within a menu plan, select the day you want to print, see the new ‘Download as single menu for the day’ button on the right hand side, click on that and choose whether you want a PDF or CSV.
If you choose PDF, a box will pop up where you can choose the required template and a date (if you have ticked Show Date in the menu template), click on print. The menu will load on the screen for you to print.
If you choose CSV, a box will pop up giving you the opportunity to include costs, then click on Generate. The CSV will be downloaded to your computer.
To print the whole week, choose the Download button next to the Cookbook button.
Label Maker
Within Label Maker you can now control the ‘Use By’ date depending on the number of days entered in the Shelf Life (days) box in the dish record. For example, in your dish record you have a shelf life number of 1. On the 18th you create your label, tick the ‘Use By’ box, the label will display a ‘Use By’ date of the 19th.
Selecting the ‘Today’s Date’ box gives you the option to free type a message in the Prefix box, for example, Produced On, this will be displayed on the label as Produced on 18th. See example image below.
