What do I need to do when adding an outlet?
To create a new outlet fill in the fields on this page.
Area, Finance Region and Brand - pick from the available drop downs
Outlet - this is the outlet name which will be used throughout the system
Outlet Reference - this is displayed on some of the reports and is typically used by clients as the outlet identifier on data exports
Start date - this can either be the date you create the outlet or the day you want to start using it. This doesn't have to be 100% accurate
What else do I need to do to complete the outlet set up?
This depends on what modules and sub modules you are using. The most commons set up requirements are mentioned below.
Address: Once you have created the new outlet, click Edit Outlet and click on the outlet name. The click on Change Address. This address will be used as the delivery address on your supplier purchase orders. If you want to use the address as the invoice address on the supplier record, tick the 'Supplier Invoice to Outlet' box (in Edit Outlet).
Purchasing:
Assign Category Favourites
Assign Supplier Favourites
Complete Supplier Account Number and Delivery Days
Add requisition approval levels if using
Income:
Create Income Departments and Categories
Recipe Manager:
Add Locations so that dishes can be assigned
Stock templates:
If using stock templates created at head office, these will need to be assigned
