You do not have to submit data for all items on your catalogue and you can leave fields blank, but if a client has requested ingredients for their products this field must be populated.
How should the ingredients be entered?
The ingredients for each item need to be in descending weight order, this is as they appear on the manufacturer's packaging.
Ingredients are still required for an item that contains no extra ingredients, for example a carrot
Once submitted, the client has the option to click on a Product Info button next to the item when creating their order.

For clients using the ingredients to populate their labels, the IndiCater application will search for and bold all allergen words from a catalogue, when displaying the data to the client.
