The template is attached, it contains a few examples. These examples need to be deleted before the file is submitted to IndiCater to be loaded into the database.

- The compulsory/mandatory columns are: ProductCode, Description, Salt (the Salt value can be 0.00 but it has to be filled in, it can't be blank).
- The rest of the columns are optional, fields can be left blank. The most frequently used columns have a value in all 10 example lines.
- The example file is saved as an excel spreadsheet so that the column colours are preserved (as a help) but IndiCater can only upload files in a CSV format. If the supplier is unable to save the file as CSV, IndiCater can do it as long as there is only one sheet in the file.
- The following columns can contain both letters and numbers: ProductCode, Description, DepartmentName, SubDepartmentName
- All the other columns can only contain numbers (no letters, not even approx, N/A, Trace) etc.
- Please be mindful not to insert extra spaces in any of the fields as this will corrupt the upload.
- Please don't use commas (=thousand separators) in values higher than 1000. Only use decimal points (if you need to):
